We have. We have been killed, slaved, pushed down by water holes, forced to stand up on buses and could not drink out of the same water fountian as others, we got thrown in jail, we didn't go to nice schools, and alot more. I would say that gays have only had about 2 of these things happen to them. It shouldn't be compared because your right we have been through SOOO much more than them.

I think every group thinks they have had it worse than other groups. Gays are kind of the invisible minority. We didn’t grow up knowing we would have to face discrimination and hatred. Some of use can hide who we are and live a straight life.

Blacks have fought civil rights battles and won. Right now they have the law on their side, even if there are still people who disagree with those laws. Gay people are still fighting their civil rights battles the laws are still against us.

I think black people HAD it worse (slavery kinda winds the argument), but gay people HAVE it worse.

Check out Huey Newtons essay on the gay question . Racist white gays never compare themselves to blacks . Black gays dont have to . Many gays can hide their gayness , but not all . When some gays liken their position to that of blacks , its because both groups are misunderstood by society . Those in power preach that it is only right that blacks and gays be kept down .

properly, I agree gay human beings now did no longer bypass by way of something as fvcked up as slavery, yet they're certainly one of, if no longer the main discriminated communities out suited now. And likely to stand group violence. And regardless of the character/nurture argument, or any 'ethical' arguments, a gay male could have basically as user-friendly time starting to be excited finding at females as someone could changing their epidermis shade. There are similarities and differences, yet you're splendid in asserting they did no longer have as complicated a warfare. yet to be honest, slavery grew to become right into an prolonged time in the past. many that ***** approximately it now, basically prefer a scapegoat. many even purchase products produced from contemporary slave exertions in third worldwide international locations, whilst complaining approximately slavery see you later in the past.

Black, gay or anyone else, it's civil rights, so it's the same...the history may be different, but the struggle is the same.

I am a *white* Australian gay man.

My great aunt Frieda was burnt alive in a vat of acid by the Nazi's in Poland in 1943 because she was Jewish.

I win.

The gays have attempted to gain traction for their "civil rights" movement by saying that their struggles equate to the struggles of the black race. Actually, all they do is offend most black people who really know what a struggle is.

Something to think about.

Gay people want the world to think that what they do is not an immoral choice or learned behavior but that they were born that way. They want homosexuality to be a civil rights issue which it is not.
