because people think that by giving the celebrity a star then the celeb might actually take the time to see who gave them a star and that little lonely person would actually get noticed, i personally find it to be a very stupid reason to give a star--a star should be given because the question is interesting/raises questions...not because of the social status of the questioner

caus everybody secretly loves them, and wants to be a part of what they have. they think that giving them a star is including themselves in something, when actually everything is a mixed up reality.
