I need a science project... an investigaotry project...help pls?????
well im in grade 9 and i really want a project about plants, biology.. or about our ecosystem... something about traffic.. affect in smoke... about something really cool with a catchy title..... arrgghh its so hard to think and i really need to formulate a hypothesis about it!!!! help pls!! i need a high grade for this experiment!!!

lol im in yr 9 too and i also need an experiment to do!!
both an assignment and CSIRO project thing!!

i have no ideas but this is what i used last time:
you get multiple cucumbers and test which material is the best to keep the cucumber healthy or in the best state.
you get a tray and place each cucumber in a different storage material like a paper bag, one wrapped in glad wrap, one on its own, one in foil.. etc.
and leave in in the sun for about 2 weeks or however long

and record your results in a journal and take before and after photos and other photos during the week.. record how it smells like and the look using descriptive words.. and MAKE IT SOUND DISGUSTING!! take a sample in to class for better marks =D

in the journal:
- draw pictures (including smiley faces of how you feel)
- draw cucumbers
- paste in reasearch and clippings
- paste photographs
and write in your journal how you would talk to your friends for example:
" today is the first day and this experiment sounds soo boring!!! and i have nothing to do the experiment on = ( "
" i FINALLY came up with an idea and im soo exicted!! =D "
" YUCK YUCK AND MORE YUCK! the cucumbers look sooo disgusting!! and im really regreting this choice.. although its fascinating watching the changes occur!"

that kind of thing got me my full marks!!
you could also test:
- which washindg detergent is more effective ( you could use sauce and textas and other things on mutliple shirts and wash them and see which comes out the most)
- which lipstick is the most effective
- which plant would surive in a certain condition

ETC.!!!

Start reading up & choose whichever is most interesting.
e.g. There's huge current interest in global warming.
Rent the Al Gore movie from Blockbuster.
Look up the latest research on methane production.
"Bovine Belches produce Global Warming"

ive outsmarted my whole class with titles how about hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm "smoked plants" im not that good with hypothisis buthow about that the plant will rot but if u gave it dirty water it wont be good so its like dirty water without the water it will dry up and rot. remember not that good on these.
