but since we have so called "nu-metal" trend, mixing rock and RAP, it means some records companies are trying to support RAP not to let it dies, but unfortunately its really bad idea. any agree or disagree?

People who know nothing about hip hop talks about it... sad to say but it seems like a research project for a music class right here..
Hip Hop is not Dead it's just full of viruses right now , there is a cure soon to come.. its too many people giving record companies something to sell and laugh about.
It's songs like for example "shake it like a salt shaker" that makes people say Hip Hop has not content and with songs like that artist prove them right.
20 yrs. from now will you want to listen to that song? - NO i wont , i am too mature right now to even by that song for $0.99 on any site, the only reason they sell is because of the videos and clubs...
I grew up on hip hop and it helped in many ways, NOW, how will it help any kids if they hear songs like that?
Many artist have strong minds or should I say most do.. it's just alot of money hungry artist who don't think of anything to say being aware of national listening and international.. what ever sounds good to them and people on that level they make and sale .. hey they made it out the GHETTO so what can you say to some one who come from nothing to something with the option to wear as many blood diamonds is possible??
its a political ground behind the scenes of everything that's considered civil.. its technical , just think analytical and focus microscopic.

I honestly don't know what your talking about.
You lost me at "record companies" because I do not pay attention to any of that crap.
I don't like mainstream rap (mainstream anything is bad for the most part) but old school hip hop is pretty good and there are a lot of really talented underground rappers that only about 2% of music listeners know about.
edit: you want a list?
1. A Tribe Called Quest
2. Gangstarr
3. Black Star (Talib Kweli+Mos Def)
4. Aesop Rock
5. Lupe Fiasco (although he is pretty mainstream)
6. Atmosphere
7. Wu Tang Clan
8. Immortal Technique
9. Sage Francis
10. Dr Dre
thats just my top ten though...
edit: ive heard of echoes of eternity.

Yes its really sad that there is nu metal "rock and rap or metal and rap" don't mix well and nothing good ever comes up. And as far as rap being dead... well everywhere I go I hear it whether its in a store, walking down a sidewalk while someone is blasting their music up loud. But I hope rap dies! Seriously it sucks!

I'm now not an excessively tremendous fan of Hip Hop, however I do admit that a few Hip Hop song are well song. However, one of the most intent why I'm now not a tremendous fan of it's considering that one million) its too loud, two) plenty of them are very monotonic, in the event you attempt to play a few Hip Hop song on piano, it might simply be a unmarried word repeating itself again and again. three) a few suggestions are too violent or sexual~ Therefore, as they are not able to quit you from loving Hip Hop, you additionally are not able to quit them from hating it.

As much as I await the day that rap will bite the dust, it is, unfortunately, alive and well, sucking the soul out of the music world. I pray for the day when standout rock and roll returns and sends rap to its grave in a fiery blast of razor sharp, blistering guitars and thunderous, earth shattering drums and bass.

Rap is everything BUT dead. I mean it's everywhere; on the television, movies, even in fashion it being promoted. Maybe someday rap will "die", but I dont think that day is coming anytime soon. Seriously, these rap artists today are making millions. With their songs and dances to match. So to answer your question "no" rap is here to stay and for a looonnnnggg time, I dont support it, but it is what it is.

Rap is okay. Metal is awesome. But when you mix them, you get nothing good. Either go with metal or go with rap.
