Is it possible to trade pokemon from a gbc game to a gba game? eg- Trade from crystal to firered.?

Just wondering... I need the Jhoto pokemon in D/P, and it would make it really easy to get a mew (from red/blue/yellow)

You can't trade pokemons from gbc to gba games.

ya you need a link cable though. im going to trade my pokemon from gold to emerald, and from emerald to diamond.
