I believe you may be correct. He is undoubtedly an unimaginably underestimated president. He is hated right now, but soon enough, those who despise him will have to come to grips with his success. Between 9/11 and the economy, it's hard to imagine what it would be like now if Al Gore had been elected. Something else many people do not notice is the fact that George W. Bush is not a politician.

*adding one more thing though, Abraham Lincoln was a terrible president who ignored the Constitution and started the most deadly war in American history, not to free the slaves, but to have himself viewed as an American hero.

He is just the latest gem in the spectacular pagaent of outstanding Republican presidents. What a legacy: Warren Harding, Herbert Hoover, Richard Nixon, Ronald Ray-gun, and now George B. Those pathetic Democrats like Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, JFK, etc. just can't compare. I think history will rank George B right up there at the top with Genghis K., Napoleon B and Adolph H.

I voted for W twice. He ranks behind both Roosevelts, Reagan, possibly Truman....He compares favorably with Johnson, Wilson, and Kennedy. He's better than Carter by a long shot......I'll give you Carter......

Apparently I suffer from BDS - 'cause, sorry, can't see it . . . .
Nope, I checked again, and I just don't see Bubba Dubya going down in the annals of history as great - so, guess my BDS is fairly severe.

Find a greater president ?? - pick one, any one - every one's a winner (like they say in the carnival)
