The sorrow and anguish of my grandchildren - but I know they will get over it, and profit by it. I'd stay if I could and thought I could be any help. But I know I can't. The Persians believed spirits stayed on Earth while they were remembered, or their work was still valued (especially the work of their hands). A comforting thought, emulated by many other religions without crediting where it came from, or the insight that engendered it. But my comfort comes from confidence that the end is the end, for me - and that those I love have been nurtured well enough to live well.

I can only say this from experience. Regarding another. This wasn't a "restless ghost," but a spirit that lingered for what I didn't realize was my continued need for input. Reinforcement. It's quite fine if someone doesn't believe in this, & how would they if they hadn't felt it? The thoughts & encouragement I'd never gotten from any other were THERE. Just as before. I'm not sure what happened, it certainly must have been some non-intellectual insight. An epiphany? All I recall now, is that I opened the blinds to dawn (literally) & knew I'd set this person free. LET GO. As for me--there seem to be so many who rely on me, I don't see how I could possibly stay behind for all of them. I suspect I'd just say to myself, well, I've done the best that I could, & now it's up to you.

Well as this is always a possibility, I understand and am in touch with my mortality...very well.
I will linger for some time consoling my loved ones as an angel, and then I will go to nirvana/heaven.
I do not believe that souls are automatically just gone, they dissipate over time that the ones who felt the spirit and soul of the person would gradually feel them slipping away. As when my son died, I felt his physical presence gone immediately, but his spiritual/soul this presence still lingers today. It is not how most feel, but this is my perception. I feel that as we grow in life, we must also grow into nirvana.

Dogs. Yes dogs, I love dogs, and although I believe all creatures big and small are the creation of a supreme being and forever in motion and existence, I would want to stay behind and play with the animals, especially dogs. I love the looks, the playfulness, the licks and the barking, and most of all the snuggling close at my side while I watch a scary movie for the 5 time. Dogs...

I have always thought that one of the reasons souls linger around is that they do not realize that they are dead. I have always thought that if a person died in their sleep, how would they know that they were dead??? It circular logic I know, but these are the thoughts that bounced inside my head when I was a child . . .boy I was strange. . .
So I guess what would make me a restless spirit would be the NOT KNOWING.

I would worry about my sons and how they would make it in this world. It's hard letting God take care of them. I wonder if he'd let me be a guardian angel until my boys found solace or if I'd have to be an eternal restless ghost.

If I was to pass so soon what would make me a Restless Ghost? I would say my Grandkids, because I would like to have seen them grow up.

I will never be a restless spirit. When I go... I am gone. There is just not anything big enough to keep me here. When I meet the heavenly host... I will be there to stay.

First, honestly tell your father and mom and consult with them approximately it, i understand such rather some people who've seen a black mass/fog in a corner of a room or a black mass shifting and so on. i've got seen many stuff myself too 2nd, i'd circulate it would mean that your place "would" be haunted or in basic terms inhabited by using paranormal beings or in basic terms skill. i'd do a splash learn too and based upon how non secular or non secular you're (so some distance as i understand) there are a number of movements you will desire to take to rid your place of that uncomfortable environment/unfavourable skill

Restless spirits are often associated with unfinished business. Looking for a lost child, worrying about how your spouse will make it without you, etc.
