This is what i remember...
Teenagers swimming out in a lake.
Jumping off a wooden dock.
I think they are listening to music drinking smoking all the usual stuff.
Then some of them swimming start getting taking under water by some black stuff.
Thats all I remember!

...you're talking about the filmed version of author Stephen King's short story, entitled "The Raft", and part of the '80's horror anthology, "Creepshow 2".
One of the first victims of the supernaturally animated & blackened oil slick, which laid seige on and around the hapless group on the raft, is Daryl Hannah's younger sister, Page.

I remember the movie but really can't come up with the name. All I can think of is "The Blob" but I don't remember it being in the water???? Good luck.
