ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Privacy is very important here for the safety and security of all. NEVER say a real name in the open forum. If you want to call them by name in an email, that's fine, but NEVER in the open forum.

No. If they have an ID, stick to the ID.
I have emailed with a few people from y!a, and they have told me their real names, but if they don't want that openly shared, let them handle their own affairs.
And I use their ID names if I am talking to my friends, for example, about some Harry Potter theory they shared with me... stuff like that. I only use their real names if I'm talking to them.

It really depends on that person if it's all right.

Personally, I never mention my contacts real names.

Good question. Here's a star.

no, and if you must use fake names to protect confidentiality. For instance if someone's name is Anasophia, use a name not even close to that name, like Amanda.

I wouldn't, people appreciate their anonymity, that's why they have an ID, I wouldn't want someone using my real name.
