I'm still trying to figure all that out - at age 55. What I know about it so far leads me to believe that I'm much more flexible about things I thought I was set on, and I'm more rigid than I realized about a lot of others. A lot of that has something to do with being able to forgive yourself and others for mistakes that were made in the past. (I'm not saying I have finished working it out.) It also has something to do with not taking yourself so seriously, and with not letting other people set your agenda. I know that may sounds contradictory but it's not. Sometimes life catches us up in its little storms and tosses us about. We spend so much time and energy trying to keep afloat or to help others closest to us that we can forget who we are.
Probably what is most rigid in us are not our views themselves, but our qualities and character.

100% of my beliefs are rigid, inflexible and set in stone. Why? Because I am right, and you are not, of course!
To be honest, my beliefs regarding sexual ethics are nearly set in stone: What I consider dishonorable has remained almost constant since before adulthood. My feelings about personal honor and keeping one's word are quite inflexible. What I know about mathematics and physics (which is not extraordinarily much, but not too bad) is unlikely to change in any significant way. My beliefs about what is true and what is not, or who is good and who is evil, and many other things are much more open to change. I would estimate that less than 40%, but probably more than 30%, of my beliefs are rigid, inflexible and set in stone.

If the posted speed is 70, and you drive 60, my view is rigid and inflexible; drive 70, or get off the road!!
If you report to work at 7 AM, that means 7 AM. Not 7:05, 7:10, 7:15. No excuses.
About 25% of my views are rigid and inflexible. I listed two big ones.

Usually i am very open minded and open to conviction but up to now my view about applying the death penalty to people who , in all knowledge , are found guilty of sexual abuses to children has not changed.
I am for it and rigid about it
I cannot quantify the % as i think that the human mind has no limits.

Im 100% rigid, inflexible, and set in stone. Im against language one hundred percent but i see the beauty in its ugliness. I hate math but love the study of adding things it intrigues me. I love science and think it has the answers for our world but love God as he has the answers for the world, he is the father of ideas. Everything has two sides and both are ligitement. A kiss from someone you love is heaven only if you are in the relationship, if you are out of the relationship then that same kiss can be your living hell.

I can't give you an exact figure.
The ones relating to ethical behaviour, in which I'm a firm believer for example are quite strong.
Anything else involving acquiring knowledge and learning different points of view (but not necessarily accept them) is pretty open.

The Rock with the blowed up trailer was way funnier then Stone Cold, but Triple H defiantly was the funniest. Lmao do you remember when he was threatening the photographer and tell the short guy "Shut up" ? Triple H was very professional though lol I thought he was gonna loose his but he kept a cool head.

I welcome insights. I listen to almost anyone, because there seems to always be a tad of something I can change, & modify my concepts. I can't use a %. I'm inflexible about being inflexible--except for--just off the top of my head, my honesty, integrity, & sensitivity to others is NOT flexible. My basic moral compass, if you will.

i have some morals set into stone, but i'm pretty open to anything. things that i know i would do my best to uphold. i'm not religious (i'm spiritual, though that has nothing to do with this), so i don't uphold my religious beliefs. i uphold a strong sense of what i consider right or wrong for myself, but not for others. i think others morals are not my problem, nor my business.
i try my best to do what's right for me & my friends & family. this means, to me, not lying (to me, or to them), not stealing from anyone, not committing adultery, not killing anyone, not hurting anyone beyond defending myself, not hurting myself, & not breaking promises. anything else is open water, it's either something i hope not to do, ( but if i do, then it's not the end of the world) or something i'v already done, or think i will do.
i'm not a strict follower of anything, but i do try my best to be consistant.
