Lebron James and Dwight Howard. Both are young and incredibly gifted. Dwyane Wade and Amare Stoudemire also come to mind. Durant and Oden may be up there some day but that day is not today. You are correct in choosing a big man and a perimeter player. The two compliment eachother, giving versatility to your team. Bosh is also an excellent young player, but Iverson has maybe four good years left. His body's taken a h*ll of a beating in his career and I wouldn't build a team around him now. Five years ago maybe, but not now.

I would start with a PG and an C. These are the keys because you need a great young pure point guard, and a young devloping center. Right now I would choose Chris Paul as my point guard, he can shoot, and averaged around 9 assists last year. I would choose Greg Oden because he looks like the next dominating center.

U need center n PF 2 make ur team great.Gotta have Yao n KG.
MJ n Pippen were good cos they had backups. Remember Rodman?or Horace Grant? Chicago always had great Player back then. Another one, we cant add MJ cos he is 1 in a million. Can Kobe, Wade or Lebron do it by themselves? No! They also have backups!

PG and C are the positions that a team should be started with. For me it is Chris Paul and even though he isnt a center, Tim Duncan. But that is because I dont see a big time dominant center.

I agree w/ you to pick a PG & a PF. However, I'd pick STEVE NASH & TIM DUNCAN.
Having those two for my foundation, my team could easily win 2-3 titles in the next four years.
If we're looking for a period of more than 5 years, I'll go w/ DERON WILLIAMS & GREG ODEN. They may not be able to stand up to Nash & Duncan in the next 3-4 years but they will be studs in the NBA for the next decade.
