anglefish can be very nasty and nippy to fish they go for the eyes as well so they do peck out fishes eyes i would not put angelfish with guppys, when you have guppys you are limited to what you can have. i would leave the angelfish out although they are nice fish.

angelfish are special because they need special tank. Not only should their tanks be long, they need to be high. This is because angelfish are not small animals. They will grow in hieght.

29 gallon is the min for a angelfish to grow without being stunted.

If you keep it in a small tank like a 10 gallon, it will not grow deep and look bad and be stunted.

My largest angels are 12 inches long and 15 inches deep.

It depends on your tanksize. Kissing goruamies are not small, and will grow about 12-16 inches, so you need a big tank for that fish plus a angel, i would wait.

It really depends on the size of your tank. An angel will get 4-5 inches long and even taller counting it's fins, so it needs plenty of space.

Angels can be a bit more sensitive than some other fish and would probably be the most delicate fish in your tank, so you will have to be careful to maintain the tank properly.

Please ignore all references to any type of 1" per gallon rule. That doesn't apply to very much in the way of fish keeping and is one of the worst pieces of garbage ever passed off on aquarium keepers. Total and complete trash. instead take the time to learn about the fish you wan to keep and their needs. No one rule can ever take the place of doing that.

It sounds like a nice community tank. An angelfish should be fine in there. They can get 4-5 inches, but are very docile. They are pretty hardy, when they are not picked on, and from what you said about the other species in your tank, an angel will be fine. Remember, dont overcrowd your tank, or it will become more succeptible to spread of disease. The general rule is 1 inch of fish per gallon of water. Hope this helps.
