Yes, yes it's true the cavemen have their own sitcom this fall, I believe. ABC actually cut a deal where they save a ton of money by switching to geico but lose most of their fan base and make the worse pilot in Tv history. It's a win-win!
btw- I loved George Lopez, he was a funny guy.

Every few years TV tries out some reformulation of the classic *fish outta water* scenario. The ones that worked best were "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Third Rock From The Sun". If they work it this way - where they're suddenly thrust into 21st century America - it has a shot. If they play it too much like the commercials then it's probably going to get old VERY fast. I'd give it a shot, either way. I'm a fan of the commercials, and I liked both of those old sit-coms.

Unfortunately, yes. They (the ABC execs) actually thought that this was a good idea. I even heard that the man behind the costume on the commercials is not even on the show. These are the kind of people (ABC execs) that thinks "According to Jim" is better than "The Knights of Prosperity".
I hope to GOD that when this show comes on, that it will be that "surprise" hit that stays on the air much longer than what it needs to be (Caroline in the City? Veronica's Closet? Suddenly Susan?). I think you get the idea.

Yes it is true, however the network cancelled "The George Lopez show" to make room for it. To cancel a realistic latino family for cavemen, is a huge slap in the face .

If it incredibly is actual I will in no way be gazing it. I hate the caveman classified ads a lot that i'm thinking changing my coverage service. they should have caught with the little eco-friendly guy.

Unfortunately, it's true. Aparently the stupid commercials that have gotten incredibly old wasn't enough. It won't last.
