Look for speed up programs at www.download.com. Look in utilities or even type modem speed etc. You should find a free one there

Most people will be able to add a second line to their existing jacks without installing any additional cable. Two wires (one "pair") are needed for most phone line connections. Four wires could support 2 phone lines so if you had 2 separate phone lines and 2 modems and a way the computer could work with 2 modems then in theory you could double your speed.

HOWEVER, two phone lines and the dial-up service for two lines would cost a lot more than DSL and would be a lot slower than DSL.

Why are you still using dial up? DSL costs only $5 or less per month more than dial-up. DSL plans start at $15/month. Dial up plans start at $10 per month.

No, it does not matter how many wires you connect, but the data is going to be received from one wire only! Dial-up will have the same transfer rate! You must get DSL, or Cable internet to have high speed! All the dial-up services saying they have an accelerator are not telling the truth, the accelerator only works on google.com, therefore you must get high speed internet for higher speed!

The Dial-Up Access can not be faster. If you want a High Speed Internet Access, switch to DSL or Cable Internet Access.

DSL costs about $15 to $25 per month with the speed rate from 1.5Mbps to 6Mbps.
Cable costs about $30 to $60 per month with the speed rate from 4Mbps to 8Mbps.

Have a good chooce, contact me if you want to know more about DSL and Calbe. good Luck,

Speed programs do not work, I don't care how many people tell you they do. They simply don't.

Want to double your internet speed then get cable internet.

Dial-up is dying they way of the dinosaur, just like all these supposed "speed up your connection" programs.

no it wont
those wires are required for the protocol
and you cant change the protocol
even if you did, the machine you are talking to wont be using the same protocol.. so you will still be able to get the same amount of data per unit of time...

best is to get a new connection.. thats the most stupid advice u will get.. but it works :P
