How do you know that it is safe to purchase from a website??
In particular, I am looking at a product on www.squarehard.com

Looks like it uses PayPal service. PayPal account can be secure enough. I don't know though.

Make sure when your about to enter your credit card details there is a small yellow padlock on the bottom right of the internet explorer or in the search bar on the top for windows vista or explorer 7. NEVER purchase unless its there. That is 128bit Encryption and its not accesseble by anyone

Try looking for reviews of the product and check to make sure most people had a good experience with the company in question. Do not enter financial information into sites that you do not trust.

There are services that you can contact online to examine a website to see if it is valid. But normaly you have to pay for their service.
