43 percent of the federal offenders were Hispanic. But what I find most interesting is that of the 29,000 or so of them arrested, 14,000 were arrested for immigration laws (the rest is mostly drug trafficking). Although immigration is technically a non-prison offense. 90 percent of the offenders are sent to prison.

Im not trying to degrade hispanics, I think they are getting screwed. But nobody cares.

Yes, but as for overall crime, they aren't the ones who are # one. That honor still falls on the same group that commits 80% of it and makes up most of the prison population.

It is not good to stereotype all hispanics. It is mainly the illegal aliens and the children of illegal aliens that are committing so much crime. Illegal aliens kill nearly 10,000 people a year. Those people would not have died if illegal aliens were not in America.
Over 25% of all federal prisoners are foreigners. Foreigners make up just a small percentage of the population but them and the children of foreigners make up a huge percentage of the prison population.

I believe all Illegal, notice I said Illegal, Immigrants should be arrested and sent back to where they came from. We should have had buses rounding them all up when they were marching in our streets. Also, I think we need more border control. More than 48,000 innocent Americans have been killed by illegal. I have no problem with the ones who are LEGAL.

i think a lot of it has to do with some of the citizens of this country. a lot of people especially older folks seem to get really upset about non-citizens trying to come over here. they had some mexican men get arrested recently because they snuck on the greyhound, they were hiding in the luggage carrier on the side of the bus. it's sad.

There has to be more unity & I don't agree with posting statistics to degrade another race esp not a minority race. White ppl do enough of that for us.
