Never heard that one, but it felt like it. I did hear that being under general anesthesia is the closest one can come to the state of death....without really being dead.

Birth and death or related, but a woman does not routinely experience any physiological effects of dying. Is giving birth painful, yes but a healthy woman recovers from it's effects.
Did you know that is some religions birth is considered an event of saddness and death an event of joy. As of me giving birth was very joyous, so if death is more so then I fear nothing from this life.

Who said that?? I never heard that one before. I felt get giving birth. (I have three kids all natural. The epidural didn't work.) It didn't feel like death to me. It was hard, but worth it in the end.

I think death is the closest a women can come to death. Thats just me though.

heavens no. A heart attack, a kidney stone, a debilitating stroke all would be way worse. After you go through labor you have a wonderful baby.
