Dollar Store tests are accurate, but the Clear Blue Easy was probably more sensitive. You can't get a false positive, which means your friend is pregnant. Congrats.

Positive is positive. She's most likely pregnant. She now needs to contact her ob/gyn to schedule an appointment.

A little lesson in HCG......
Pregnancy tests detect HCG. Now, HCG is in your system all the time around a level of 2.0 , but is too low to be detected by a pregnancy test. When you become pregnant, the HCG levels rise to the level that the pregnancy test can detect. In your friends case, the pregnancy test probably detected a level at or around 25.0.

Also, it depends what time each test was taken. HCG, when you're pregnant, is most concentrated in the morning. So therefore it is possible to take 2 tests of the same brand, one in the morning and one in the late evening, and (only in early pregnancy) have one negative and one positive.

I would go with the positive test, but would take another to be sure. And, make sure that the test has not expired and has been stored in the appropriate environment. Then, she should make an appointment to see the doctor.

Defintely the positive one! I took a first response home test and it was positive then went to the doctor and their urine test came back negative. I demanded a blood test, and sure enough it was positive! Have your friend get a blood test. They are very accurate.

False neg's happen frequently tho false positives are rare. I don't really think one test is better than the others. I would suggest one more or just go to the doctor. I say she's pregnant.

The negative test may not have been senestive enough to come up positive with the amount of hormone in her urine . A positive, is a positive. She's pregnant.

Clear blue is way more sensitive then a dollar store test. So I would say she is pregnant!

False negatives happen often.
False positives are nearly unheard of.

Get a doctors appointment.
