I made sure through AT&T that if I called my husband who is out of the country if it was M2M, they told me that it would be on more then one occasion. Well I got a 7K cell phone bill and I am going to dispute it and wondering if someone had any issues with them and if it was taken care of.

Yes, this happened to me. I had signed on with a new carrier and dropped AT&T. They charged me full price for all calls that I made during the last month of service - even calls I made within the network. When I got my bill, I nearly choked - it was $700. As I recall, I was on the phone with customer service for a long time rectifying the situation, but the person who helped me was very knowledgeable and she was able to fix everything.
