lol, I didn't know what it meant either.
Back in the old days (like the 70s) porno music used to have music with a distinct beat like "bom chicka wah wah" (like on the Axe commercials). If someone didn't that to me, I'd probably be more offended than flattered. Yes it meant you are hot, but it could also mean that you look like a porn star. (And it's a REALLY lame "pick up line")
Or the kid might not even know what it means and is just quoting that dumb Axe commercial.

there is a commercial on tv that has that phrase in it. Its for a cologne for men. the commercila goes something like this. a guy has brought his father or grandpa home from another country and he goes to the bathroom and accidentally gets this cologne on himself. he comes out and the son"s girlfriend gets a whiff of the scent and starts saying boom chicka wah wah and procedds to rip the old mans clothes off of him. To which the old man says "God bless America"
its actually kind of funny. It may not be to however, but maybe it was rude compliment.
