I got one answer last time but I'm not sure, I need a couple more answers so I can make up my mind. I have a Clark's Clownfish, I have a Firefish, and I have a Camel back Shrimp. With a couple of snails in it. My clownfish has this sorta of white coat on him. It's not on him like dots but sorta like they are his scales sticking up. But not bloated and he doesn't looks like a pine cone. He doesn't want to eat and he stays at the top of the tank. Before He stayed at the bottom. When I showwed my dad so we can go to the fish store, he said not to worry about it because he might have go into a fight. I'm not sure if it did though. I remember the camel back shrimp would get those long antennae thing and touch the clownfish with them, but I thought it was cleaning it. Anyone know? Please I need answers this time.

I don't know anything about clown fish..however this site describes many clown fish diseases if not all of them. Perhaps you can find your answer here. Good Luck!

different clownfish? in all probability the detrimental guy is being attacked with the help of the others, aggravating in the perfect/corner, and could die quickly. they don't look to be friendly fish to a minimum of one yet another and should not be stored collectively, different than as youthful juveniles or mated pairs.

Here's another website that covers a variety of diseases and parasites of marine fish: http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/disease.html

For any of the conditions where the name appears in red, if you click on the name, it's a link to a page with more specific information about that disease/parasite, icluding what to do as far as treatment.

I am sorry to hear about your Clarki It sounds to me like marine ich. Marine ich unless you have mollies in the tank, get a white coating on them like a mucas film covering them. (Been there done that) Clowns are also prone to ich or clown fish disease.

It is treated just as you would for marine ich. A picture would be great.
