You must first locate the problem of the weak signal. It is most likely due to one of two things. One possible problem is wireless "blockage" such as several walls or other obstructions blocking the invisible path from your router to your PC. Another problem is distance. (It is also possible that your actual computer needs cleaning but that is unlikely if you have a newer computer.) Both hindrances can be solved in the same way. In order to strengthen the signal to allow it to either reach farther or slip through thick walls you must purchase a larger antennae. These can be bought from a local superstore or computer store relatively cheaply. Because there are several different types of wi-fi signals, make sure you know what type you own so that you make the right buy.

Just a couple of things to bare in mind.
Most offer different speeds. First check that. Next have you ever done disc cleanup, from the Operating Systems Utility/ Start/Accessories/SystemTools/ Disk Clean-up and check all the boxes.
There are several programs I run once a week need to or not to keep my system clean of all the junk.
Lavasofts, Adaware,
Spybot, Search and Destroy.
Believe it or not many of the Internet Service Providers offer many Internet Security Suites for there subscribers for FREE. by the way the more uneccesary crap you keep off your computer the better your computer will run Speed Speed Speed.

try wrapping tin foil around it like a satelite dish, suprisingly this works quite properly, merely element it on your room. if your incredibly desperate you additionally could make a visit to radioshack and spend 40 greenbacks or so and purchase a 2 foot long antenna and connect that to the router. stable success
