You must have a phone line or a TV cable to have an internet connection for a fine-price. If you want the internet only, you should sign up to Verizon Wireless PC Card, and then buy the 3G router for the Wireless PC card. The monthly payment is about 60 dollars to 90 dollars, depends on the plan that you would like to use. You'll need a 3G router to use more than 1 computer at home (if you have more than 1 computer). Follow the 3G Wireless Router's instruction (Manual) or Guide to set up the connection. Good Luck,

Most systems, if pressed, will agree to installing the cable internet without a tv package. However, nearly all will also charge you an access fee to cover hook up to the system. This fee is normally included in the cost of the TV package and is added as a separate charge when the TV package is missing.

The other possibility, if you are using a mobile phone in place of a land line, is to inquire about high speed access through your mobile phone carrier. Some systems are nearly as fast a entry level cable, though none begin to compare to the higher level packages for speed.

To date Time Warners Roadrunner is the best, there are others out there but simply do not have the service as Roadrunner.
Yes they will supply just Internet, but when you purchase a package deal it will be cheaper. Don't forget to ask about the speed differences.
