I have a major fear of spiders, it's hard to explain but it's pretty bad. I mean snakes dont scare me but spiders do.

I sort of have arachnophobia... When I was a kid I was terrified of them and would make my mum search my room for them every night, but now I just can't suffer them to live and since nobody else will kill them for me I've sort of become much less scared since I've squashed SOOOO many.
But it's still AWFUL when they catch me by surprise or when I walk into a room and see a monster lurking.
I can just about hold a small one.

Naw. It's just gotten worse. I'll sit in a sweltering hot car before I'll open the window if there's a cobweb on the rear-view mirror -- especially if there's a live inhabitant.

i feel the same way about needles. it's so bad, i can't even look in the mirror when i put in earings or my hands get all shaky and i can't get myself to put them in. wereas, when i was five i got a dog bite on the right eye, and when i was seven, i got stiches for a dog bite on the other eye. however i can still hold a growling dog by the muzzle and tell him to calm down(with my face inches from his.)
hairspray.
speders breathe through their skin, which is covered in hair. if you spray it, it will die, and you can get someone to get rid of it.

my cousin is freaked by spiders, though i dont feel threatened by anything 1/394258th my size
