is that considered s/r? because 16 is the age of consent, so even though it's a legal adult and a minor isn't it fine?
I'm not sure and don't want to get in any trouble

yes, as you said, age of consent for the state, means it is legal. Although sometimes there are two ages of consent, one with stipulations, such as, "16 with someone no more than 2 years older".

Actually it depends on the state laws. I grew up in Kentucky and there it was legal at age 16 IF you had parental consent. I live in Montana now and I think at 16 it is legal regardless of consent or not. Check your state laws- it's definetly something you dont want to risk. Also make sure the younger person is mature enough to make an informed decision on if they want to have sex.

It is actually unlawful for any person to have sex with another regardless of the age - except they be married FIRST.

Otherwise it is called Fornication and/or Adultery.

Fornication and/or Adultery is the reason for every disease on the planet today and to do such a stupid act without being married and doing it with another than your wife or husband is worst than Russian Roulette.

The odds of getting a STD are almost 100% - most every man, woman and child born even today is born with some sort of disease that is sexually transmitted.

I know you could argue with this because you (as in everyone reading this one that likes to fornicate or commit adultery) know much better than even what we been preaching for over 40 years - and now the science community is begining to agree.

You cannot have a heart problem unless you have a lack of salt - OR ... you have clamidiah ... and syphellis ... isn't that grand???

No, it is not statutory rape, but it can indeed be prosecuted for Contributing To The Delinquency Of A Minor, and Endangering The Welfare Of A Child. I suggest you wait until you are 18. Also, please exercise discretion and use condoms.

Yes. If someone found out the 20 year old could get charged with child molesation and rape. Even if the other person agreed.
