Depending on the type of questions, I can experience different moods. The ones where people keep asking if it is okay to cheat on their spouse drive me nuts. I hate how people can justify cheating and then get mad when there are still people who are against it. I get in a great mood with jokes or questions from polls and survey. I get worried when kids ask questions about being pregnant and they are only 12. I feel old when people are asking about the first movie they remember seeing and it was made in 97. I go through every emotion, but yet I like it. I like trying to help, I like seeing there are others going through stuff I thought only I went through. Plus, you are right. It kills boredom.

Depends - boredom when there are no good questions or answers.
Frustration - when I have a good question and nobody answers it
Grrrrr - when you have a witty answer that someone posts 2 seconds before you
Happiness - when there are witty ppl about or when I get a best answer.

Yahoo does not effect my mood, what effects my moods are the questions and answers... and that can range from anger to happy to sad. it just depends right now I'm OK just chillin :)

I like thought-provoking, philosophical questions, or those dealing with Iraq, or general politics. I like anything that challenges me. Mood? I'd say melancholy.
