I ask because Britian thinks so , why you ask ? because Churchill, Hitler, Gandhi, Stalin and Martin Luther King are being taken out of the history books so children can learn about " modern & more relevant " topics such as drug and booze abuse, climate change and GM foods .

Gary W: There are millions of ignorant people like you that believe that Global Warming is just a scam to sell more hybrid cars. And actually, not that global warming is more important, but it's more relevant for this millenium's kids, than say, Hitler or Stalin. They should learn about all of the mentioned historical figures, but emphasis should be placed on something that can affect the world on the long run. Global warming hogwash garbage, and live out in rural setting and try to ride a 10 speed to the nearest town 30 miles away, or tax poor people energy use because you wealthy leftists want to horde resoucres from the masses. Global warming is cooked up garbage by gore because Gore cant stand people having the right to own a pickup truck, or the right to burn wood in thier home fireplace. Trying to set up a germless or clean world is useless waste of govermen resouces times. MLK did something useful its call ending Jim Crow laws and rasicm, and Gandi want a poltically independant india and did it thru peaceful means hes more important to humanity than gore elite ***.

Hardly. Global warming is no more then an irritation; something that requires adaption. Power centers may change and that may cause war and human population will probably expand greatly, but the process is relatively slow so will be manageable.

Well they can teach that in science books as for history they need to teach it like it was or future generations will be ill informed and will make the same mistakes that were made in the past generations. But that's just my opinion.
