Yes and more often than I'd like. I suppose it's human nature to dwell on the past which is something that cannot be changed. It's hard to let go of this stuff. Embarrassing situations and dumb things that I've done and said.
Accept the fact that you're going to do things that you may come to regret. Whenever you find your mind focusing of these negative feelings remind yourself that all the regret in the world cannot change the past.
I'm not trying to put a religious slant on this but there is a little prayer that seems to apply to this situation.
It goes something like this.
"Lord give me the power change the things that I can, and give me the ability to accept the things that I cannot"

It happens often. I'll blurt out something off the top of my head. Later, I'll think, I can't believe I just said that! If you think I haven't done it on Answers, you'd be wrong.

All the time. A word of advice: Get your fiance a psych exam before marriage and invest in a background check.

Close my eyes? I do it with my eyes wide open. And then I answer my own question and explain to myself what I WAS thinking. Then I move on.

About once a year when I clean out my chest of drawers and see that little red "outfit" I had to spice up my bedroom activities.
