Oh I see, you get a degree (big wow) and now the world suddenly needs you and owes you a living!

If you cannot even be bothered to motivate yourself why should we bother to interest you.

I am a self made man and I did it with nothing more than a standard education. Most white collar companies (including some of the most influential) no longer see a degree as a marker of a good education as most are quite easy to come by now and most are worthless.

When I employ someone I'm not looking for the ego maniac I'm looking for the person who I think are best for that job. Education means next to nothing although a good sense of English both written and spoken is a good start.

I always go down to reception and meet prospective employees personally. I don't tell them who I am, I just chat as I would welcome anyone. It's thier initial reactions I am looking for, friendlyness, bubbly nature etc. I will then take them for a coffee and a friendly loose chat, then i ask to see thier portfolio (if indeed they even have one) It is then that I introduce myself as the boss.

Some go shy, some don't give a damn and I like that I certainly don't think I'm better than them, they may be better at running my company than I am!

I don't need big ego's working for me but I do expect a genuine love for the job. That only comes from treating my staff with respect and a pretty free for all place of work, there are no petty taboos, if you want to fill your desk with gonks or plants then fine. As long as no one else minds and it doesn't effect your input then thats fine.

You no no longer something approximately lifestyles....don't be responsive to to talk to human beings and exhibit out of your question what an entire loser in lifestyles you would be. PS I don't think Platypus is right about August for finals results, at least it wasn't at the University I attended. August is for GCSEs and A-Levels where there are huge numbers being examined.
