I have 4 species of fish:

1 Betta (Lives in a bowl by himself)
2 Dwarf Gouramis
2 Neon tetras
3 Cory Cats

I feed all of my fish twice a day. The food I use are from the company Tetra. I feed my Betta Freeze Dried Blood Worms. My gouramis and neon tetras eat tropical flakes and my cory cats get whatever the gouramis and neon tetras don't get as the flakes fall to te bottom. I do this twice a day and before I go to bed I give my cory cats a tropical tablet just in case they don't get enough from the flakes.

What are some other food choices that provide nutritious value for my fish? Thanks to all that answer!

Live foods if you can get hold of them, brine shrimp, Blood worm, Daphnia. Once a week for a treat, remember you need to empty the contents into a net over the sink then rinse gently before dropping the contents into the tank. You could anchor a piece of cucumber or lettuce once a week, take it out after a few hours. Otherwise flake food is a balanced diet and should see to all there needs.

All tropicals love Brine Shrimp. They come frozen in a package and you thaw them in a net hung over the water where the fish will come up and "pluck" them from the bottom of the net. The packages come in small, medium and large sizes, so they will keep a long time in the freezer. You don't need much, just a teeny bit will do.

you can feed your fish these it what i feed mine:
frozen of live of any of these listed below

frozen of live bloodworm
dafinia
brime shrimp
cyclops
beefheart
muscle

i also feed mine tetra prima great for color and i have two panda catfish and i feed them algea tablets. with fish you have to have all them foods listed above for different parts of the fish so i feed one food each day one day bloodworm the next beefheart and so on to get a mix cause thats what they need. and every sunday i feeds the a mix of three lots of flake food. the tetra flake food is like us eating mc donalds every day its not good for them so i purchased the nutrofin natural flake food its great. so i would buy all the above frozen foods to your fish you will see results and when you feed your fish feeds the cats alges tablets of proper catfish pellets. i hope this helps please let me no by emailing me on goldramsrule@yahoo.com
