i almost have a feeling i did the test wrong, but thats not possible?

I got a positive hpt on my first try, but I waited until I was a few weeks late for my period. 98% of the time the reason they don't come out right is because you test too early. How late are you for your period? If you have a 28 day cycle and ovulate on day 24 (which is possible but unusual) then your test wouldn't show up until you were atleast ten days late for your period. If you haven't had your period by the time it's time for your next one, I'd advise you to see a doctor to find out what the problem is. Goodluck, I hope it turns out the way you want it.

The only time a urine test shows negative but a blood test is positive is when the hCG amounts being secreted in the urine are still too low to register on a hpt, but the levels are high enough in the blood to register on a blood test. This is because hCG is *always* more concentrated in the blood.

If your period has been missing for two months, go to your doctor. There's a multitude of other possible reasons why it hasn't come besides pregnancy.

Some times home test show negative. My sister had her period the first 4 months of her pregnancy, and I tested negative 3 time at home before I went to a doctor and test positive. Go to your doctor and let them get you a test.

Stop freaking out. I just went through the same thing. I didn't have my period for 3 months and during those 3 months I think I kept EPT in business. Just go to the doctor, have them give you a blood test for a 100% accurate result. So many factors can make you have irregular periods. Stress, diet, weight loss or gain. If you don't trust the at home tests, just let the doctors tell you for sure. Good luck!

Every time my sister-in-law was pregnant and took a home pregnancy test it always came back negative. She never new she was pregnant until the blood test. So I would go and see a Dr. to find out for sure.
Hope this helps.

I haven't had this happen to me. I do know that people have had pregnancy tests done wrong (so that could actually happen). As for reasons why your not having your period, there can be many reasons. You could be prego... Your hormones could be off... You might be thinking so much about pregnancy that your body believes you. But who knows... If I were you I would deffinitly go to the doctor and tell them you want a blood test done so you can really find out.

it could be the pregnancy test is not reading the hormone level like the level is just under what it should be 2 read pregnant but where as a blood test if the hormon level reads a bit higher than usual but still rather low it could mean pregnancy but only a doctor can confirm that for u
unless there may be another problem where as they would be gettin u 2 have scans or anything else 2 see if there is a problem in ur womb, ovaries or anything like that

One of my friends was pregnant, and she didn't know until 3 months. She kept getting negatives on pregnancy tests, then they did a blood test and it was positive!

Sometimes the HCG never makes it to your urine, not matter how far along you are. They don't know why, but it does happen.
