I have 2 glass catfish and one has very short feelers, like about 2 cm. I didn't notice it till I put him in the tank with my other fish. I just want to know if he'll grow them back out or if he'll die from not being able to feel for his food.

Never had a Glass Catfish, but I have an Asian Upside Down Catfish who lost a feeler and it grew back pretty quickly on it's own with no medications or anything. I would think the same would be true for just about any catfish.

I don't know if they will grow back or not but he won't die anyway. He will soon discover where the food is even with out his feelers.

To aid him you should keep his water really clean I think in some species of catfish the feelers can rot away in dirty water.but are you sure he doesn't just naturally have shorter ones ,I have 3 pictus and one of them has feelers shorter than the others.

They will grow back given time, but it should really do very little harm to him as he will become accustomed to where the food is likely to come from.
