I'm a preschool teacher, and in my opinion the best disinfectant is bleach and water (make sure you use the proper dilution). Lysol is not safe for toys that will be mouthed or surfaces that come in contact with food (they do have a lysol product now that is safe for food surfaces, I believe).
Most state child care regulations include regulations on what can and cannot be used for disinfecting. what you use to clean will be different than what you use to disinfect. Toys should be cleaned with soap and water, then disinfected. Surfaces should be cleaned with soap and water or cleaning solution and then disinfected. If you spray bleach and water on a dirty surface, it isn't going to properly kill bacteria. You need to clean, then disinfect. You also want to limit the amount of chemicals you are using, especially anything strongly scented. Properly diluted bleach does not have a strong smell. I have always used a mild dish detergent for cleaning and then bleach and water for disinfecting.

You can use diluted bleach 1/2 c. bleach to 1 gal. of water.. and then rinse toys.. You can wipe down furniture and mop floors with it as well.. .You want to do all of this after hours when the kids are all gone... You can use lysol spray, but only when the kids aren't around...

I would use something natural, such as borax. It is a great disinfectant. You can find it in hte laundry section. Mix 1/2 cup borax into 1 gallon of hot water to disinfect and deodorize.
