The company owns the phone number 800-486-5635, but it routes you to another number. I believe if I can get in touch with them I can persuade them to sell me the number. 1-800-963-8255 is a number to reach them on but it is a porn number, how do I reach the company to talk about buying it from them, internet searchs haven't worked and I don't want to pay a third party to acquire it for me, thoughts, ideas? Thanks so much!

They don't use the number, it says, "please call this number" when you call it. Thats why i think i can acquire it, anything can be bought for a price. I just can't get ahold of someone to buy it.

They don't actually OWN the number. Even if you get them to agree, maybe there is someone else on a waiting list for that number. Besides, I can't imagine anyone in business giving up their number ... they probably have a lot of advertising dollars tied up in it.

Yes, 800 numbers are collect calls for the company which has them.

You'll have little success buying it from them since they have established advertising out there directing traffic to the 800#
I would look for another number
