Don't you think congress has enough control on our money and lives today without willing turn more over to them, after all only 14% of Americans even approve of congress.
This number, which is 1.8 trillion dollars, yes TRILLION, is the size of the health care industry, it represents 14% of our GDP.

To give control of this of course comes with a cost, this number represents $5,959 for every man, woman and child in the US. That is less than what I pay today, why on earth would I want to increase my costs. You can buy a pretty good insurance policy for that kind of bucks, and you do know that will go up 40% with the Fed in.

there has to be a better way to address this perceived crisis than turning over control of anything to the government, if health care was run like a free market costs would go down, but is so heavily regulated, congress uses it like an iron fist to strangle America.
