It is a very interesting question asked by questioner. The first part:what you think about yourself or what God think about you? This part means that you are thinking or to carry on unique work which you think to carry on independently. In this situation your internal voice(God) works and your thinking or internal voice or God thinking is the same without carrying to other people of thinking good or bad about your work.As mentioned by questioner that if you care about people reaction about your unique thinking or to carry on unique work, the difficulties will arise as stated to get ready for road blocks, dead ends, and disappointment. As you are carrying on unique work or thinking you should not bother about people reactions such as roadblocks, dead ends, and disappointment and go ahead without carrying people, you will get your goal of thinking and success. That is you will get object of your result and finally you get Peace.

I don't ordinarily answer questions that include prejudgemental aspects, but your's wasn't so bad.

The only thing I care about regarding others' opinions of me is that they think I'm benevolent. In other words, I always strive to do good things and help others. Regarding things like my clothes or hair, I could not care less -- this is a gift from my parents, who taught me to be an independent thinker and to not pay attention to things like peer pressure and fads/fashions/trends.

As for what God thinks of me, I of course can't know that. But again, I always try to act benevolently and make the world a better place, and part of that is continuing to practice tact, discretion, good manners, courtesy, and etiquette in a society that is fast starting to regard those things as irrelevant qualities to possess.

I certainly don't care what people think of me. I can only hope that they think good of me and not bad.

I'm not a religious person, so I really can't say anything about what God thinks of me.

The important thing is that I'm self confident and cherish myself for who I am. I will always put others before myself, No matter what people say I should do.

There are times when we all are concerned about what people think of us. Quite honestly, I'm not interested in what people think or say about me because I must be true to my own beliefs. As far as God is concerned, it is important that one knows that God accepts us just the way we are.

Allowing yourself to be "guided" by what other people think of you and your "activities" is a sure sign of insecurity, and a sure prescription for never really becominhg who you "really are", creatively and otherwise.

Society supports relying on others for our sense of validation. Why? Because that disempowers us and allows others, including the society's "leadership" to, in effect, dictate how we should lead our lives. It is in short a control mechanism that is encouraged. Not good !

Have courage, rely on your own judgment about "how you're doing", and encourage others to do the same. :))

I like to say that I don't care but it won't be entirely true. I'm not terribly when people say nice things about me but when I hear that someone keeps a negative opinion about me it certainly upsets me and I start maintaining distance from the person who is negative about me.

I care more about what I think about myself. If I'm down on myself, then it's just going to make it worse when other people talk bad about me. If I'm happy with who I am, it's not going to matter what anyone else thinks or says.

I don't care what people think about me unless they're one of the few people I care for.
If you don't care about yourself than you may as well not be alive.
I do not believe in the "God" you're referring to so I do not care.

I can honestly say that I don't. I do not believe in god, so I can't care what he thinks about me. As for what I think about myself, I try to stay positive, but sometimes this can be a challenge.

Love me, hate me, or anything in between. I could care less about what you think about me. If you care what I think about you, you are in for a bumpy ride in life.
