me and my bf was thinking of starting a business.. window tinting for the home.. if you could have your house window tinted to keep out some of the light.. mainly the bedrooms would you do it.. who thinks this is a workable idea for a home business. and who thinks were off our rockers..

If you do your research I think you will find it's already big business but you may get a Franchise in your area if a company thinks it is viable.A lot of big companies use this on their high rise glass office buildings and domestic use is growing.

I like clear windows..but they would be beneficial in a hot climate, keeping clean (easier than blinds) and for privacy. That would be a niche market and since everyone is renovating...... U could also get contracts from commercial and residential builders. Personally I think it is a great idea.

I don't think that's a great idea for homes, but it could be good for business. I think commercial stores in your local area would like it.

i think you're of your rockers, everyone wants some light sometimes...what if they get tired of the tinted windows?

I've tinted every window in my house so yes if someone wants it done and doesn't wanna do it themselves.

It can be done but I'm sure the competition is fierce.. Not to mention DIY people... Good luck with that...
