Well there are many sites with sexual predators, but blogging websites probably have the most.Any sites like myspace, facebook, xanga, tagged, those are the ones to watch out for.Especially myspace. And instant messenger is also very dangerous.Really there are many ways for sexual predators to work there terrible ways, but as long as you check what your child is doing you should be find. And if you do allow the mto have a myspae or anything like that make sure they don't give out ANY personal info.

In all honesty they all can there is no end to the trouble these fiends will go to to get at your kids . the Internet is almost totally anonymous so a 10 year old girl could just be a 50 year old deviant posing as a child . get your self a program like net nanny and supervise their Internet usage . diligence is the key.
you can set up a chat log to track their online conversations I'm not sure how its done I had a friend set one up on my computer it just stores a copy of the conversation typed on the chat room they use I asked them first and until my oldest turned 13 it was cool with them. now they are educated and old enough to spot a threat . drill into your kids that no names and never phone numbers or address's or even what school they attend if they are small children. I know I sound alarmist but they are all you have so look after them.

Um... All of them?
Sexual predators like chat rooms and places where you can communicate. Kids sites often have those kind of things. Kids sites are more frequently monitered, however.
Block porn sites as best you can, and tell your kids not to talk to anyone they don't know on the internet. Ask them what their favorite sites are, and if you feel comfortable with it, check their internet history. If your kids are under thirteen, I'd reccomend doing that frequently. Over thirteen, checking their history, while logical, will probably just be asking for a fight. Instead, talk about the dangers of the internet with them. Ask them what their favorite sites are, and ask why. Be informed without snooping.
Your kids will probably read blogs and maybe even have one of their own. Make sure they never post personal information on them. If they have to register for sites, make sure they practice good habits there, picking passwords which are difficult to crack, and not using their real addresses and names and whatnot.
Keep them educated to the risks, block porn and hate sites, make sure you know where they're going. Much like you would in their real world life.
Good luck.

No where on the internet is safe. I would bet there are predators here on yahoo. Get net nanny or some other internet protection software. I would also keep the computer out of the kid's room, keep it somewhere public and constantly monitor their activity.

Sex predators don't stick to specific sites, that would be too easy. You'll have to keep an eye on what your children are logging on to and just try to stay ahead of them.

pretty much any site where u can chat with other people. Some sites have people who monitor but those are few. The best thing to do is to watch your daughter and worn her never to give any personal info like name and address or school or anything. You never know who your really talking to!

Any site can have them. Some people just are better at disguising themselves online than others. It isn't the sites, it's the individuals they connect with that you need to examine.

You're right Nikiter. I forgot all of the personal blog sites. Like everyone else is saying, they all have the potential. You have to monitor your kids.
