My mom says she feels like everytime she goes to marshall's she wants to clean it. But still goes for the good prices.

Don't shop in very dirty or nasty places .. but mostly because as someone with a disability (and I am Service Connected Military Retired) ... I have a difficult enough time just walking with my crutches/cane ... so if the aisles are too small, the place has too many obstacles .. for my own safety, I just don't go in.

Marshall's? LOL, the store with all the fake flowers and crayons? Yeah, it's not easy to keep that store clean I imagine.
As well, look at all the dollar stores. They are never organized.

I hate shopping and a messy store makes me hate it even more. I want to be able to go in, get what I want, and get the he!! out.

I don't like to shop anyplace that is habitually messy unless it's a flea market type atmosphere, and I don't like to shop anyplace the signs/windows/parking lot are broken, dirty, or unkept.

I hate it. It always feels like I'm at a garage sale, so I don't shop those stores.
