the thing that I've feared worst has happened. my girlfriend and I broke up about the condom situation because of her mom. I'm trying to the best of my ability to save our relationship because I love this girl too much. her mom doesn't want to talk to me. she said she'd let me have an opportunity to talk to her when she cools off. I honestly love my girlfriend so much and I don't want to lose her. another big problem is that I'm 18 and she's 17. I turned 18 in april and she turns 18 in november. not a big difference but I guess it's a difference. I DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE. what should I do? what should I say to her mom?? for all you new people looking at this..search for me "RF21" and my "my girlfriend's mom found a condom wrapper in their couch" story. Who's the idiot that left the condom wrapper there? You screwed up dude. Respect her parents and move on. You shouldn't of been having sex there anyways. You're 18, don't you have your own place? If not, than sounds like you need to worry about working before worrying about girls.

It's a tough situation, but as long as your ex lives under her parents' roof, the mother has the ability to regulate what her daughter will do (while she's there). Although, you guys are getting to age now where you're pretty much able to make your own educated decisions. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone on here can really help you, you're going to have to figure this one out, and talk to your ex, and try to get her mother to see reason. Make sure you tell her that you truely love her daughter, and want to do the right thing. But I'm not suggesting that you move out together right now, or anything like that. You're just going to have to reason with the mother.
I know it's hard, but once she does cool down, she'll be a lot easier to talk to.

frst of all you should apologize to the mom. I know I would be upset if I had a daughter and found a condom in my couch. But I would give you the opportunity to give me an explanation. At least you are using precautions, But however even a condom does not stop pregnancy. So try to apologize to mom and try to use every precaution against pregnancy. You are both too young to have a child. Trust me on that one son, I did not use precautions and had a child at 17.

That's just disrespectful that you left a wrapper in the couch. Why the hell did you do that?!
**** you better wait a week before you do anything. Send a letter to her mom and apologize for being disrespectful and you better send flowers with that apology.
Beg her to let her see her daughter again even if it means having a chaperon.

If it happens, you're covered if you have a condom with you. Simple. She'll cool off, and she SHOULD respect you for carrying a condom with you. Sounds to me that you're going to weather this storm just fine. Just tell her about half the stuff you told us.

At least you were being responsible by using protection - mention this if things get heated
its gonna happen some day at least it was in a safe comfortable environment I'm sure she will come round don't panic yet
