There is a guy selling a used cutlass and I asked what it got for mileage.he said he couldn't say exactly but it gets about 200 miles on a full tank.Any experts able to clarify for me?

With the cutlass you are going to be getting 16 to 19 miles per gallon if the car is in good condition and the tires are using the right pressure.

Assuming it's a V-6 front wheel drive, that sounds about right. I had an '83 Buick Century with a 3.0 V-6 and it got about 23 MPG highway on a good day and maybe 15-18 MPG city. I think it had a 15-16 gallon gas tank.

200 miles a tank isn't good at all. If it's a16 gallon tank it's horrible i have a V-6 toyota with a 16 gal.tank and i get 410 miles a tank

do the math if you get more than 24 mpg he is full of it
