Considering they have to beat out New Orleans two, maybe three times to get there, my guess is they have a slim chance. At least their line is back. They're going to have to play better defensively to achieve playoff contention.

I have the Panthers as 1 of the 2 NFC Wild Card teams, but I don't see them going to the Super Bowl.

Last Season.........Everyone.
This Season it could go that way if Jarrett can be better than Keyshawn was at being Keyshawn and helps take some pressure off of steve smith that is still a good D, and to Be honest the Saints are only one season removed from being the New Orleans "Aints" so lets not put them on the pedestal just yet. The Falcons not a major worry, unless your a stray dog outside of the stadium, which if thats the case run. Run fast, Bucs? Are you for real? Heres an idea Gruden-YOU CANT START MORE THAN ONE QB, and did they sign anything in the off season that wasnt a washed out QB? Yes the NFC is the weaker conference, so yes they have a shot just like every other team right now, but they have to live up to the hype of last season first.

They've been to the superbowl and lost to the Patriots. Sorry to say it but that was their chance and they blew it. I'm so tired of every sports analysis ALWAYS putting the Panthers in the superbowl before the season starts. Every year they are labeled the team to beat and they never deliver. Jake Delhomme is always going to choke under pressure and while Steve Smith is really good, he just can't carry that entire team on his back. If they start Carr than I think they'll have a chance but they wont until its too late so don't count on a post season run for them.

Not even a Panther fan could convince themselves of that happening, its just unrealistic.

They won't. Only Panthers fans think they will.
The NFC is a weak conference, unlike the better
AFC conference.

I thought they were gonna win it last year and they did mediocre. I'm not gonna make the same mistake again.
