I am 14 years old, and now its summer and sometimes I am home alone from like 5 am to about 3 pm. What are some things I could do, obviously not being able to drive.

Read a book, or download a book from the internet and listen to it while you play. Draw something. Can you draw what you see outside? Are you a good drawer? Well if not, watch some funny video. Practice piano. Learn something. Memorize something. Educate yourself. Watch the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, etc. There's always something funny on TV. Play games on your computer. I highly recommend Sim City! Do something creative. :-)

Clean your room. If it's already clean, then create order in your room. If your room is completely perfect, then start cleaning the rest of the house. Your parents will appreciate it very much!!

This is so cute: It shows the birth of a parrot: http://static.iftk.com.br/mt/2007/05/birth_of_one_parrot_33_pics.html Parrots like this are expensive. I heard one of these costs about $800+

Do you like to fill out surveys or personality tests?

(If you're chatting online with someone, remember, don't share your phone number or address or photo and other important personal information with strangers. This is always true not just when your parents are away. Never share important information over the internet.)

Find a hobby. Painting, drawing, writing, sewing, crochet, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, etc. Get your mom to take you to an art store and get a kit of something that interest you. Try places like Hobby Lobby or Micheal's. Even Wal-Mart has a craft section. Your time will go by much faster if you are doing something hands-on.
