oh....idk the height....thi is the dimensions of the aquarium stand....i need to know so i know what size aquarium to buy

1. Multiply the three dimensions (length, width, height)

2. the conversion between cubic inches (in^3) and gallons is 231 in^3 per gallon.

So: Volume in gallons = volume in cubic inches / 231

Also, google will do unit conversions!
type X cubic inches to gallons and press enter.
(Xis the number of cubic inches)

PS. if this is for real life rather than a textbook question, make sure you are using inner dimensions, not outside dimensions, or you will overestimate the volume.

Well you need to know the height od the aquarium so you can compute volume. Lest's suppose it is x inches. Then volume = 24.5* 10= 257.25x cubic inches.
There are 231 cubic inces of water in a gallon.
So you will require 257.25x/231 = 1.114x gallons of water.

Once you know what you height in inches is, just multiply it by 1.114 and you'll have your answer.
