Here are some things about me:

I play the clarinet(I am very good, not trying to brag)
I can knit
I can make chinese squares
I am good with kids
I am good with animals
I am smart(I skipped a grade, but people can't tell cause I'm tall)

None the things above were not meant to make me sound into myself. Please give suggestions. Thank You

Hey guys it's summer vacation the kid wants to make some change give him or her a break!
Thinking about school is kind of ---- well I hope you all get the picture. Well a paper route or dog walking is about the best you can do. Maybe you can rake leaves for neighbors.
As for allowance many kids do not even get one. Try helping neighbors go shopping. I know being 11 years old is a bummer. Maybe you can help younger kids with homework. Maybe there's a new mom in your neighborhood that could use help. Be creative.

You will have a very productive life. While you may be musically talented, I wouldn't reccomend a musical career because the music industry is very difficult and music will be hard to sell(especially instrumental music). Keep it a pastime. Because you are good with kids, animals, and you can knit, I would reccomend you babysit children to earn money until you can start a career. The best route I think you could go is the medical field. It is the best paying, and it has very good benefits. If you don't want to become a doctor, even a nurse can make for a reasonably good payroll. Your intelligence will help the most with your career, because if you are smart, you will have an oppurtunity for scholarships, a better college, and a better professional career.

You could...
- Start a pet sitting business for people on vacation (letting their dogs out, walking them/ feeding them etc.)
- Take a babysitting class at the Y or the red cross, and maybe get a few clients. You can use your knowledge to help your charges with homework.
- Make custom knit clothes.
- Mow lawns (pays really well)

These are some suggestions! Hope they help.

If you want to make money, your best bet may be dog walking or selling your knitting at a craft fair. You are a bit young for babysitting and everything else, other than car washing or mowing lawns is illegal for you to do at your age. Good luck.

How about giving clarinet lessons and tutoring younger kids at the same time? I'm sure there are parents out there willing to pay you to help their kids.

Make sure you leave time for you to have fun and do your homework/chores whatever.

Some good jobs for you might be walking dogs (smaller ones since you are young), babysitting for short periods of time, mowing lawns, make arts & crafts to sell at local fairs, etc.

Umm you are way way waaaay to young to even think about getting a job. you need to foucus on your SCHOOL work. ANyways no one will hire you at that age. its against the law. maybe when your 15 you can get a job at a fast food resturant or at like 13 or 14 a job babysitting. but 11?? come on what does an 11 year old need that her parents cant buy?

talk to your family see if there are projects you can do around their houses. maybe you can help a mom out- kinda like babysitting but with the mom still there. call the local nursing home see if they will pay you to play your instrument there.

An 11 year old needs to concentrate on school, not a job. Besides its illegal to hire someone that young for anything but a family business.

In other words, you need some money, huh? Well, I say ask for an increase in your allowance, because at your age you should just be trying to have fun. :)
