Does anyone remember "The Girl Next Door" Text?

It was a book used in health classes in the 50's about kids who lived on Driftwood Lane

um... I don't know anything about the fifties health classes.. or remember a specific street name..

I know a book called The Girl Next Door.. by Jack Ketchum.. Great book..but I'm not sure if it's the one you want.. (I really doubt they'd use it for health classes..but.. possibly if they dealt with psychological issues and physical torture.. )
