How has the Iraq war affected Iran's influence within the middle east?

Saddam was the glue that kept Iraq together.
Iran is a regional power and the Persians are more than ready to fill in the void we created in Iraq.That scares the hell out of the Arabs who traditionally hate the Shiia Persians.
Now the Middle East is on fire and everything is about who controls what and who has more power.

Simple, they have a lot more influence over the region since the war began.

It has united all of the fanatics, in support of the same cause as Iran.
