R.I.P/ rememberance gift? help!?

This past year a good friend of my boyfriends was killed in a terrible motorcycle accident. I want to get him a gift for his birthday coming up that is like a rememberance gift. I already made a collage of pictures from their childhood together and recent photos- it turned out really nice. Some people got shirts made with his picture on them that say "R.I.P Bobby" with the date. But I want something original, any suggestions? please help

Are these going to be for the birthday of the boy who died, or for your boyfriend's birthday? Because I do not recommend you make a remembrance of the friend who died as a gift for your boyfriend's birthday.

What about taking one of those photos of the two boys together and turning it into a tee shirt? All you need is a jpeg file. Were any of them taken with a digital camera? Then you can upload it to Cafepress, which makes these shirts, or take it to Kinkos. I'm sure there are other companies that also do this. You don't need to add words, but if you do, the word "remember" would be enough.
