I use it, seems very good. The programmes do sometimes take a while to run.

People may be able to help more if you are able to be more specific about the nature of any problems you are having and why you think the AVG anti virus may be the cause.

Unless you are simply thinking of downloading it?

Been using AVG for at least a couple of years and never had any problems. Has kept me free of any virus

I had AVG but it did give me a bit of trouble some time back and I am now using Avast and I find that better in that it dose its work and dose not bother you it just lets you know every day that it has updated.

So if AVG ever gives you a problem start using Avast. Nice to know you have somewhere else to go.

no, i have used both the free version and the registered version which I use currently, and they are both excellent programs. Easy for even the non computer geek to understand and very thorough and current.

i haven't used it but on some of the message boards i read, i have noticed that some people who play some on line games have had false positives reported and some games files have been deleted.

I used it on my old computer, and on my new one. All of my friends use it also. So far, it is just fine. Easy to use, and free.

been using it for two years and had no trouble.
i've got added protection.im behind a hard wired firewall as well.and i don't use limewire...
