If you follow these steps you'll have a fortress around your computer and you wont have to worry bout that person.
This is not a problem at all. Here's what you need to do.
1st, don't waste your time with AVG, spybot, ad aware, CA, spyhunter, superantispyware, avast, panda, kaspersky, windows defender or anything of the sort. Stay away from anything that is FREE when it comes to spyware and antivirus. There is a reason why they free. They are NOT good.
2nd, You need some of the best software out there. Norton Systemworks is very good. That's the only good software from Norton. I wouldn't recommend Norton Internet security, its not that great. Now the best software you should get is Spysweeper with Anti-virus, this software is too good and gets better everyday. This is Elite software. It blocks over 179,500 threats and has active shields. No other software can compete with that or come close for that matter. It catches everything. I've used them all and it is 2nd to none.
3rd, after you install and update the software, since you might have something in your system you will have to turn off system restore and then go into safe mode and run the scan and eliminate the virus. then after removal, reboot and turn system restore back on.
4th, (Optional) I recommend a Firewall from Zone Alarm, their free version is so good. Or you can buy their Pro version, but the free version will do more than the job.
5th, any probs during or after you do all this, send me an e-mail or IM. I guarenDAMNtee my answers and will help you in person from IM if needed.

I would suggest you do the following:
1-Download a good firewall like ZoneAlarm (it's free),it will block all intrusions attempt to enter your pc.

Download a good antivirus to check your system for trojans or viruses as hackers always use trojan files to control all over your system.
I would recommend to use f-secure,nod32,or norton antivirus 2007....they all have free trial version that will remove the trojans and viruses from your system.

Keep a good antivirus on your system up to date in real time scan to help protect your system in the future.
Good luck

Of Corse you can take immediate and sharp action. Type in free firewalls in Google and download a fire wall to prevent a virus.Second look for free anti-virus to delete any current viruses on your computer.

Make sure your PC is protected by a firewall like ZoneAlarm (free) and antivirus like AVG (http://free.grisoft.com)

Other than that, don't get paranoid. Most people are just big talkers and don't know jack about computers, hacking, or viruses. Besides, anyone serious about doing that wouldn't actually tell you they were going to do it beforehand.

it incredibly is not rebooting. you're reformatting. particular that eliminates them, yet that gets rather annoying. in basic terms get Microsoft protection necessities or Avast! abode version. they'll shelter you from maximum viruses, yet no application on earth will end each little thing.

Is your anti-virus up to date? I hope so, but don't open any mail from that person. You could block the emails. But if they get through, do not open them.
